Talk
to a lender to determine a price on the next home
To
put your mind at ease, we suggest talking to a loan consultant
with no obligation. They can give you what we call a
"pre-qualification" over the phone. However, this does not
guarantee loan approval, it generally gives you an idea of
what "price range" you should be considering for your
next home. What they do is briefly talk with you and ask a few
questions. These questions include, but are not limited to:

Full
name

Occupation
-
Social
Security number (this is required for a short credit report at
no cost. However, a full factual report will show more of your
credit history, this could cost you money and is not usually
required until actual loan application)

Employment
history
Once
you’ve been "pre-qualified," and depending on the area
you will be moving to, we can take you on our
"Seller
Market Preview" to see what type of home you can buy in
that price range. Then, you can determine if it is worth you
selling your house for another.
If
you determine that you still want to sell, then it’s time to put
your house on the market and meet with the lender to start the
loan application and "pre-approval" process.
